I’ve been working in the organisation since 2008 as a team teacher with no experience in Early Childhood. I took up courses to upgrade myself as to where I am today.

I joined White Lodge during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, a difficult time which we hope won’t happen again. Two days after officially reporting to work and only having met a handful of the children in my class, Malaysia MCO was declared. The management together with its teachers worked tirelessly to create the best online learning experience we could. With the limited resources and a ton of teamwork White Lodge successfully formed its online learning framework. I’m so thankful to the White Lodge family who have evidently gone lengths to remain serving the community through these tough times. I was one of the sceptics of online learning for 2-year olds, but I was also the one that was pleasantly surprised along with parents that children are engaged in online learning and look forward to seeing their teachers each day. As the saying goes, “in learning you will teach, and in teaching you will learn”. Both parents, teachers and management have supported me through growing my skills to teach online classes during this unique time. Their feedback, both positive and constructive have shaped me to be a better facilitator of learning.
I am very privileged to have started with White Lodge Childcare centre since its existence in Malaysia. I started as a Lead teacher and have since been promoted to the Principal of the Bangsar South branch.
During the many years of service at White Lodge, I have loved working there. Today, I love working at White Lodge because the continued encouragement from the Management has pushed me to strive and thrive in my career and growth in this organisation. Despite my constant shortcomings, my leaders and seniors have been patiently supportive of my conduct and this has prompted me to further excel in my role as a principal. Finally, in all these years with White Lodge, I am proud to be called and connected to its esteemed name.
A genuine enjoyment of being surrounded by children daily. White Lodge is a strong advocate for children by allowing children to learn and experiment lessons in a fun and engaging way and I am very proud to be a part of this team that helps the children to grow into happy and confident individuals.

Joined the education line in August 2019 with zero experience, and White Lodge Bangsar South is my cradle as a newbie teacher. Since the beginning of this journey, the management has fully supported me personally and for career wise, although I myself is just a big kid with the young children. WL has also attended to employees' growth with regular personal development sessions and online short courses. These are empowering!
Love that WL is all about "Play", to play, and to play creatively. While we are still amidst the learning process of integrating much more play elements into class, it's a blessing in disguise in the adversity of COVID-19 that has been urging us teachers to migrate virtual class in a short period of time. But within few weeks of virtual teaching, I have gained the opportunities form management to keep exploring creative ways to teach virtually, as well as a direct contact with parents entrusted by management which has led me closer to my children despite the distance of a screen, in any ways that I could think of, just to support their well-being.
Furthermore, with White Lodge efficient release of our very own school app, I was glad to be able to plan ahead on lessons, principal and teachers have been very supportive in helping each other’s to make things happen, all with the goal to ensure a smooth delivery of lessons in fun!
