White Lodge was an integral part of shaping me into the individual I am today. Apart from the education, what I took away most from White Lodge most is the values it instilled in me from a young age. My time at White Lodge nurtured me on how to be a confident and compassionate individual who can contribute to my society. Being exposed to inclusion and diversity at a young age taught me how to appreciate and understand different cultures, to be kind and respectful of all.
Currently graduated from the University of Exeter with a BA in English Literature and is currently a freelance journalist.
White Lodge will always have a special place in my heart as it not only gave me a great education but also lifelong friends who have become family. The level of education provided by White Lodge sets children up for success by teaching them vital life lessons and instilling morals that have a lasting impact. The focus on exploring and creativity has taught me to always look beyond the walls of confinement and think outside the box when faced with problems. The friends I made at White Lodge are still some of my very best friends today, thus showing how it strives to be more than just a place of learning but a loving community.
Currently living in Dubli studying a BSc undergrad in History and Political Science at the University College Dublin.
My time at White Lodge shaped who I became as a person. Its message of inclusivity for all was an ethos I am so grateful to stand by in my life. I most definitely owe that personal moral to the teachings and schooling environment of White Lodge. The school is a place where all children can feel a sense of purpose and security. They urge you to explore who you are at a very young age - another thing I am exceptionally grateful for. I was allowed to express my creativity in ways that I wanted to, and now at 21 years of age, that freedom has enabled me to feel confident and secure in continuing to create, without any doubt for my ability. I would like to thank White Lodge for helping me become the person I am today. I would not be where I am without the open environment and caring staff!
Currently on a gap year which I have spent travelling around Asia. Will attend SOAS (School of Oriental and African Studies) in London in September 2020 to study Chinese studies and other subjects
When I reflect on my time in White Lodge, there is always a sense of community and family. Every person had a place and a voice. I thank the White Lodge teachers and all the staff that helped me find my own voice in this world.
Children at White Lodge are emotionally and socially safe from a young age.
They leave us with resilience, ready to take on the next adventure and academic risks needed to be successful in the 21st century.
We look at early childhood education as an opportunity to give all children the hope that they need for a better day. Each of us are invested in providing a memorable experience for life.
